Beta Builds
Every CI-green develop build, straight from the pipeline's
staging catalog. Plug the lamp into this computer with a USB-C
data cable and flash any bundle below — newest first.
Staged builds
Alurix Smart Lamp Kit firmware is free software licensed under the GNU GPL v3 — by flashing you receive a copy of GPLv3-licensed software. Bundles containing the ESPHome option include ESPHome, © its contributors — source code available at that link.
Plug in & flash
- Connect the lamp to this computer with a USB-C data cable (a charge-only cable won't show up).
- Click Flash on the bundle you want and pick the device — it appears as “USB JTAG/serial debug unit”. If several devices are listed, unplug the others or match by that name.
- Keep the cable plugged in until flashing reports success (about a minute). The lamp then reboots into the setup portal to finish configuration.
Flashing replaces everything on the device and can't be interrupted safely once started. If it fails midway, just run it again — every bundle is a complete, self-recovering image.
Firmware flashing and over-the-air updates are performed at your own risk. Alurix is not liable for device failures resulting from interrupted or failed updates. If an update fails, the lamp's built-in recovery (factory reset: hold the button 10 seconds) will restore it.
